Quick help with seats please.

   My misses Fiesta 2004 passenger seat catch is broken.
   Its the black catch on the top of the seat, it just clicks and doesn't move the seat.
   
   Maybe the string is broken or something i dont know.
   
   Is it repairable or something she must live with. Cheers.

   On a saxo forum... And yeah it probably is, its just a wire bond that gets pulled, whip the seat out and look under the back of the upright cover... Itll be apparent, probably the aluminium squash tag on the bottom damaged...

   Cable gone and it's a common fault. Seat out and covers off to replace

   Check my post count. Not like I aint contributed. I figured the odd one could slip every now and again.
   
   I had a look cant really see nothing. I was wondering mainly if anyone else has any experience of them seats on here.

   Your going to have to remove the seat from the car,then any plastic trim from the seat.Then unclip the seat cover & roll it up at the back,to gain access to the cable.I believe repair kits are available on ebay mate.

   Cheers ill have a gander the weekend. Suppose i now know whats involved.
