difference between 3 stud & 4 stud driveshaft

   as the title states, in need of a new driveshaft but i wasn't sure if a 4 stud shaft will work with my 3 stud? cheers

   I'd imagine they'd fit.
   
   Just make sure they're both the same - ie both tapered / both non- tapered

   Been trying to compare the info of the two. Just seemed that if they were the same, people wouldn't specify what stud its for :/

   Good point. Thought you might of had it there to check.
   
   Some1 will surely pop in whos done a 3 to 4 stud conversion - they will know if they fit or not

   euro parts seem to think there different :/ reason i asked is i just a found a guy selling a brand new un opened driveshaft for half the price of a normal one. But he stated it was a 4 stud
