think its between 60 & 70k for vtr and 50 & 60k for vts garages do stink you but i think its the kinda thing youll see the money back from if you have a recipt for it when selling the car plus while they have it off get them to change all the oil seals extra precaution and forward planning!!!

i have mine changed every 30/40k miles just to be sure.
From memory it was 72k mile service that its to be carried out, i cant think of any examples of a belt going on a saxo just from long wear and tear, i know of a few that have gone in other circumstances though

scott is right mate 35k, i have changed mine twice upto now just to be safe. its easy on a vtr, but with the vts been twin cam it will be a little harder. if you not 100% sure what your doing with engines i would pay a pro because its very expensive if it goes wrong.

Certainly dont skimp on this, it's a cheap car to do aswell my old Clio people were quoting me £500+ evently the belt went taking valves with it so £200 isn't a great deal compaired to other car prices, my Saxo had it done at 50k I'm going to do the same when it reaches 100k.

i know ive probably left it a bit late on an r plate so dont take this as a recommended mileage to have it done should be off the top of my head about every 60k or every 5 years
