Euro wheel question..

  1. #1
hi i wanna buy these wheels off ebay for my euro style saxo http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/15-bbs-rs-...item232157ce43
the details says 4x100/108 so if i just bought them like that would they fit cus ive read tht ONLY 108 fits and would 100? .

Also can some one point me the right way to get some nice stretched tyres? thanks!!
  2. #2
You'd need spacers and spigot rings for these to fit due to the offset and centre bore
  3. #3
yeah ive figured out the spacers to be 10mm. what size spigot ring would i need? and will the fact its 4x100/108 matter? also on the description it says 15x8 what does this mean?
  4. #4
centre bore on a saxo is 65.1 and the wheels are 72.6 so you would need one to convert from 65.1 to 72.6.

    Such as these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-x-SPIGOT...item33781c6fb9

8J means the wheels are 8 inch wide.

4x100/108 means they are multifitment so will have 8 bolt holes rather than 4

thanks for the link! so would these fit then as there 4x100? and 8j would be ok at rear?
  6. #6
they are 4x100/108 which means they fit both as they have 8 bolt holes rather than 4 meaning they can fit both.

As for fitting issues with 8J, i'm not sure, hang about and wait for someone with the know how. I'd of said you'd need bigger than 10mm spacers though

ah yeah i get it thanks for that useful info mate! and okay just need to find out about 8j now! and il ask about the 10mm then but i just used this on the forum http://www.saxperience.com/faq/show-...e.php?artid=81

    hi mate,

recently fitted 8j rears and 7j fronts to my saxo vtr.

need 20mm spacers to fit 8j on rear and you'll need stretched tyres aswell to keep tread under arches.

4x100/4x108 as said before has both sets of bolt holes, just put the wheel on the hub and turn it till the bolt holes line up with holes on hub/spacer.

    hope this helps

    just noticed they are et25.

mine are et15 and needed 20mm spacers so you will probably need a 30mm spacer to make these fit.

might be better if you can find a set with a et15

can only get these wheels anywhere in et25? :/ could i just put 30mm spacers on? and i want stretched tyres anyway so u have any good sites on them??

i got my wheels and tyres from wheelbase alloys.

seen nankang ns2's for around £38 each after a quick search on google.

try stanced uk on facebook, they sell all sorts of euro wheels in different fitments including lensos that look like the ones you've seen on ebay
  12. #12
    found these! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/15-Lenso-B...item3a737cfd62
what you think? there exactly the same but have et15 and 108 fitment!
  13. #13
You don't buy stretched tyres, they're just normal tyres that are too small for the width of the alloy. So go to any dodgy tyre centre and they'll fit them for you.

195/45/15 would be a good start on an 8J wheel.
  14. #14
8j is inches so 8 inches is 203.2 millimetres? yh? so 195 would be stretched enough...
  15. #15
I've got 185-45-15 on my 8j rears and they look great.

Stanced uk sell on eBay aswell mate do see what price they can do for you before you take the plunge
  16. #16
    dont get them lensos!

they look crap, the dish isnt big enough
  17. #17
Eew no not lensos, do it properly.
  18. #18
I'll try and get a pic up of mine later so you can see how they look
  19. #19

  20. #20
No mate, mine are dare rs with gold studs around edge.
Was unsure about em being all silver on a silver sax but now they're on I'm well happy with em and had nothing but good said about how it looks now

oh yeah same kinda look! is the rears deep dish enough and would they be on lensos?
  22. #22
Not seen lenses except in pics but think the lenses only have a deeper dish on 9j.
The dish on the ones I have is noticably deeper than the 7j fronts
  23. #23
yeah they dont look that deep :/ i wanted a nice deep dish look?
  24. #24
    pics as promised.
    speak for themselves really.

Lenso BSX are shit. End of.

If you want to run BBS style wheels, buy Dare DR-RS.

I use to run them and they looked pretty decent.
