MOT advisory help

   Hi guys got my first car at the weekend sadly its not a Saxo as I'd planned on but never mind
   
   On my not advisory slip it says "nearside front road wheel with a slightly distorted bead rim"
   
   I know nothing about wheels is this a bad thing?

   i'd get the tyre replaced sooner rather than later!

   sounds like the rim has a buckle/curb/flat spot

   Oh right would it be bad to leave it on or should I start looking for another alloy?

   Get the tyre/wheel checked asap & its not good to drive like that

   have you not got a spacesaver or spare wheel you can put on in the meantime?
   
   but that advisory will be the actual wheel .

   yes mate, sounds like the wheel has met a kerb at some point..
   
   post a picture of said wheel.

    if it was anything dangerous it would be fail, no?
    if it holds air and the tyre is not visually deformed then it should be ok, but thats just my opinion

    That's what I thought mate if it wasn't safe it wouldn't be an advisory
