Has anyone had a noise from there wheel area that sounds like a loose marble. It sounds like it's around the wheel area. It happens going straight and turning and the sound get's faster wiv the wheel speed. Could it b the wheel bearing. It just sounds like the ball inside a rattle can that's empty.

As above it definitely feels like a wheel bearing, just to be sure, jack the corner up, put your hands top and bottom on the wheel and see if there's play, if there is then its gone

Think it might be the wheel bearing as when I got my driveshaft changed a few months back it had the wrong shaft fitted. It had the flat end fitted instead of the tapered type. This had been on the car for 3 years so I think it knackered the bearing.

Bloody hell thats a weird sound lol, is the wheel definitely not catching on something? As I said above, I'd check for play in the wheel first by jacking it up and wriggling it holding it top and bottom

No the wheel is not catching on anything. Think i'm going try and change the whole strut that side and see what happen's lol. Just my luck tho there isn't any vtr's at my scrapyard at the min.so if any1 as got a strut knocking about give me a bell.

Ok bit of an update as this is still not sorted. I've changed the whole strut and the noise is still there. So far it's had a driveshaft droplinks wishbones discs n pads im stumped what this noise is. My brother had a look and said that it could be my gearbox as there is a bit of play n said it could be my diff. Anyone got any ideas. There is also a noise when turning left like a knocking noise don't no if the two r related.
