106 boot conversion?!

    Anyone got any ideas how easy it is to do a 106 boot lid and light conversion?
    Is it just a case of swapping or is there more involved?

    ive heard that i can be dun on the earlyer models but im not sure like.

    Got given a 106 1.1 phase2 and mines a 98 saxo mk1? dunno if its poss?!

    iirc it's a bit of a job cos the lock is in a different position

    my mate has done this conversion.

    you need to cut where the boot slam pannel is so it sits lower, the line the lock up again. re wire the rear lights, as obviously they are wired different( no rear panel mods needed though. the bumper was the longest thing to fit as it really needed to be stretched to line up with the arches.

    but was only a weekend work

    admitedly it looks lovely though! 106 rear bumper with number plate recess would look cool too :Y:
