Question about VTR wheels

    This might sound like a stupid thing to ask but does anyone know if the holes where the wheel bolts are different to the ones on a VTS that has these wheels.

    The reason i ask is i got some bolts and guy is adamant they came off his VTR alloys but they are to wide at the top to fit the vtr wheels that came on the early vts's.

    Hope that makes sense

    vtr and vts are different bolts as one is tapered and one is falt as in with a washer

    Bollocks i thought as the wheel looked the same the bolts would be lol i guess you learn from your mistakes as they say grrr £10 down the drain then but would they be suitable for steel wheels would you know ?

    So the vtr are flat or tapereed?

    Tapered i would guess as that is where the bolts came from that i got and my version of the vtr wheels on my vts are flat hence they dont fit lol

    my vtr bolts are now holding on my vts wheels absolutely fine?

    the tapered bolts were generally used with steelies

    however the flat head and washers went with the alloys as the flat surface generally give better purchase

    i have both an have never used taperd on my vtr or vts alloys only ever used them on my steelies
