Saxo VTS Alarm

The alarm on my Saxo is standard, and utterly bollocks, why?

Mostly we don't agree because when I lock it with the fob, it sits on the drive or outside work for 10-15 minutes, then sets itself off. Then repeats this.

If I just lock it with the key in the door, it's fine. I'm assuming because it doesn't set the alarm.

Another french quirk, and something that usually doesn't work for the factory, or is there something in particular that I can re-align with a hammer?

Mine does this too! i would like to know why. Do you have a button on your centre console you can push? next to the hazard warning light button?

Sounds like the interior sensors are fubared which is relatively common.

Use the button on the dash next to the hazard light button to turn them off each time you leave the car or replace the sensors.

I push the button, bit of a pain in the arse, how hard are new sensors to replace?

Some idiot has bu$£$£D up my drivers door lock and when I lock the car with the fobber it unlocks straight away!

Goiong to get a new lock set or take the sunroof out and go dukes of hazards styleeeee.

I had the exact same issue with mine, it was too much of a pain in the arse to keep pressing the button every time I got out of the car, so I just pulled the sensors off of the pillars and cut the wires and put them back, granted they don't work, but no annoying alarm going off all the time now!
