wtf is wrong with my gauges lmao!

   hi all just bought a 1.5d saxo (for some reason) any way none of my gauges work the revs and fuel gauge are off (fuel gauge warning light stays on) and my speedo has a mind of its own just comes on for a while then has a fit and dies ive tried all the fuses their all fine also tried the battery trick any ideas? >.<

   Check that all the earths are fixed down properly inside the engine bay

   Earth points on either side of the dash, iirc one near the bonnet release under the carpet, and one the same point on the drivers side.
   
   Earth point in the engine bay.
   
   If not, the alternator is seriously taking the piss IMO.
