    i need a brand new 2/3 plate clutch for a sax 1.4 2002
    any 1 know were to get the uprated one to?
    .................................................. .................................................. ....
    and would like to know how hard would it be to take out the gear box gears out of 1 gear box and put in an other?

    1. what type of uprated one and why do you ned it to be uprated

    unless you've done some extraordinary tuning to your 1.4 then standard clutch is fine. as for taking the gears out of the ma box, good luck with that lol. save yourself mucho hassle and get a complete box from a scrappy

    its a proper fuck on taking the gears out and swapping them. i would recomend getting another box unless you are reconditioning it and fitting a diff at the same time.

    ok lads so that pic above is that with the case of?
    what is happend is i got a g/box for free but two out three bolts to the engine have bin mutalated hahaha so how easy would it be to just swop over the casing?

    oh and as for the clutch/ i just hate the distance of the pedal,just want to put my foot down alittle and change gear

    that is with the casing removed yes. but if its the bell housing that bolts to the engine thats fucked then you will need to strip it. as all the gears, diff etc are attatched to that.
    you'll need to remove these:


    so you are left with this:


    is it the bolt holes on the right hand side of the box below that are fucked?

    um..the actual bolts to the mount (g/box>mount>chassie)

    can you not just get new bolts then? its a lot of hassel just for some bolts.

    no,the actual case is cracked and the thred is fucked and i just getting angry coz that is all that stoping me driving
