how much would you say my saxo is lowered? its running on 195/45/16 tyre's and there catching the arch's etc when braking n turning at the same time, its on standard shocks so im gonna upgrade these but thinking of fitting new springs as the old 1's are rusty and ive no idea what brand they are, but need to know how far its lowered to match up the new springs, all the tyres look to be new so not wanting to change tyre size for a good while

Change to a 40 profile tyre, 45 is too big on a 16" rim, also might need to find out the offset the rims and get spacers if their rubbing on full lock, standard offset is et 14 or 15 iirc. I would say thats lowered about 50 or 60mm, though it does have bigger diameter tyres so it could be less.

how bad is the rubbing? if its only light take the arch lining out if its not already out. other than that some real stiff shocks would sort it. id say thats dropped about 55-70. looks sat perfect though, suits it well. i get bad tyre rub but just live with it and try not use full lock lol

its not too bad, just now n again, but worse if im breaking as the front end dips, shocks are on my urgent to do list as whoever lowered it didnt change them but want to fit decent springs as the 1's thats on are corroded, but like you say, it sits pretty perfect so need to figure out which spring i need

I would say roughly 60-70mm tbh.

    I'd say 50mm

Yeah new shocks and springs will help definitely, consider raising it up 10 or 20 mm if you do as that may help your rubbing issues, else you'll probably end up buying new tyres pretty soon anyway! it does look pretty nice how it is though, but tyre rub sucks!

    looks 40-50 i think

195/45 is too large on a 16 you can sell the 45s on ebay to fund 40s it will solve a lot of your rubbing

if you think the standard is 195/45 on a 15" rim then youll realise your tyre is 1/2 inch closer to the arch all round and thats where your rubbing comes from
on 40s its puts it down to near the origonal outer diameter and solves 90% of the issues

looks lower on the front than the rear. Id say 60 front, maybe 50mm rear?

as said, it's your tyres which are causing the issues
