Query regarding boot interior

   Hi guys
   More of a query than a problem as such
   I'm wanting to cover the metal in the inside of my boot with fabric
   Basically just the bit of metal stretching from the plastic at either side of the boot and the inside face of the boot lid.
   What I want to know is, what fabric would stick, and what 'stick' should I use? Fabric to metal glue...?
   Please help
   Links would be fantastic too

   That's exactly it!
   But with some on the inside edge of the boot too, where the plastic doesn't cover
