Gear linkage

    I brought new linkages other day and decided to fit them today got the olds ones off after abit of struggling. Now I've been trying to put the new ones on nearly 2 hours and none off them will go on.. Any ideas of a easier way?

    Well would help with a bit more info. . like what ones did you buy? what excatly are you struggling with? and how are you trying to do at the moment?

    Some after market ones not Any named brand or anything, I just can't get them over the ball fitting been trying to wedge a hammer behind them and slam them in greased them up even though I don't think your suppose to but nothing is getting them on

    Most aftermarket ones have retaining pins to stop them popping off.. They would in turn stop you popping them on if they're in.

    Best thing you can do is get pictures or at least a brand?

    They did/ do have pins in but I've removed them

    Every ones I have fitted have little black pins in they unclip then you pull them out. Always fill the cup with a grease when fitting it helps with wear on internals.
