In need of a gearbox

   My gearbox is on its way out on my VTR, so i need to get a new one.
   
   Firstly what one shall i put back in it?
   And second, anyone know where i can get hold of one?
   I havent got enough posts to access the for sale section

   You can technically put any gearbox in from a TU engine, but assuming your just needing a replacement, then another gearbox from a VTR will do.
   As Ross said ebay is your best bet, but there are plenty of people on here breaking saxos or will have a gearbox to give you, but unfortunately you need 100 posts until you can view the For sale sections.

   Not if its a really early AX or 205 rallye, I've been told the bell housing is different. Either way the chances of finding the box of one of those is slim to none

   I know but i mainly meant saxos, peugeot 1/206's

   what would happen if i put a VTS box in it? or even a 1.4 box?
