#3Unless you are putting more power through it or are planning to in future then whats the point in getting a performance one?
I would just get a valeo one.1 user thanked this post: -
#5If you're planning to add mods, there's no reason not to have a clutch upgrade now, if you must. But like posted above, the standard clutch is good for around 160-180bhp, or 180ft/lb whichever comes first...
If you want to upgrade, stick with a organic clutch plate, don't bother with a 4 or 6 paddle, and obviously keep the standard pressed cover.
Whatever you decide, avoid the general SHIT that is on ebay promising 500lb/ft or some tosh. Buy from a reputable supplier - for example:

Big difference in price from standard though.
You do NOT need (or want) a paddle clutch unless running silly power. -
#6I agree, unless your planning on running big power a standered clutch will be fine, if you really feel the need to upgrade I'd recommend a Helix sporting clutch (this is not a paddle type) slightly stiffer than standered but not by much.

#7Thanks guys! I shall look into it

#8std car =std clutch
if you are going to a REAL 170 bhp + then std clutch will not last long --use helix uprated organic kit above 180 N/a / boosted -use paddle plate sprung centre and different cover (pressure plate materiasl is different)
clutch life is as much dependant on driver as the bhp level -
#9Dont buy a clutch of ebay they sell performance ones for 170 with a make you have never heard of and a coat of nail varnish to just make them look good
