Cheap Furio

    As some of you may know my current car is not going to pass it's next MOT come 15 December because i had a incident with reverse and a telegraph pole.

    There is a cheap Furio going near me for £400. Only bad points are is that the powersteering does not work, needs new wing mirror and a new tyre. Paint work and everything else looks quite mint.

    Is it worth getting it this cheap and swapping say the wing mirror and tyres from my current car and go about fixing the powersteering.

    Insurance wont be a big deal tbf. i currently drive a 1.1 forte and would cost me just £117.66 extra for a 1.6 VTR fully comp.

    All suggestions welcome

    Would go or the VTR but have a closer inspection as £400 seems too cheap.

    Mm i see it's got 120k on the clock. bit of a bummer there. i got my current forte for £450 (Was up for £600) and the only thing wrong was the washer pump broke and 95k on the clock. Such a shame as i love this car! :/

    If the only thing wrong with it is non working power steering and needs a new tyre, I'd go for it seeing as you've got a spare tyre for it. And for £400 is good ( I paid 400 for my forte) just cause it has 120k on the clock doesn't mean it's not worth looking at. If it's been maintained and serviced it should be fine. Make sure it isn't burning oil. My cars on 131k miles and engine is mint, probably better than alot of engines with less miles tbh.

    you can get a VTR for not much more. Better base to start modifying from if thats what you want

    Cheers for the opinion OMGASAXO, might phone the guy up to go and have a look. Yeahh thats the idea, used my current car as spares.

    As I'm only 17 and on the young driver policy ide wanner stay away from a VTR even thought i would love one. Purly cuz i'de wanner put my foot down and i can't do any 'Mods' anything from STICKERS to Engine rebuilds. Only thing i can really do is make the car have a nice interior and mint paint work. Can't wait till my next renewale so i can get rid of that shit!
