Suspension arms for vts

  1. #1
Hi there been pricing up suspension arms for my vts and the local autoparts, called two shops and was quoted £40 inc vat from 1st shop then £63 inc vat from the 2nd shop.

Prob go for the cheaper ones but what I want to know is how come you can get them on fleabay for around £25?

Are the fleabay ones rubbish or just basically cheaper?

    Cheers lads.

Ebay ones seem to be hit and miss, some people have them go after a few hundred miles and others have lasted 2-3 years without issue.

I would get the OEM ones if it were me, hardly a huge price difference.

Just bought a saxo rally car and the bloke we got it from says he always gets replacement lower arms from ebay and has never had any problems with them. He also said he bent them a fair bit hence needing the replacements but that's a fairly common problem on a rally car anyway.

When we run out of spares I'll probably just go for ebay jobs.

Did he give you a link for what ones he used or which shop/supplier he got them from?
