Hi you might have got this problem sorted by now but if not this might help.

You car isnt starting, when you put the key in on the first and second positions does the car engage? or is it completely dead?

If it does and you then try to crank the car does it not start or crank over?

The brown wires tend to be the accessory wires, accessory wires gives 12v to features like air conditioning radio e.t.c but during crank it looses its power so that the car gets 14v to crank. Once car is started power feeds back to the accessory wires. The orange wire not sure. Best thing you can do for me

is to get a multimeter and test each of the fat wires. In the blocks their attached to they have metal contacts so you can probe the + lead to the wire and the - onto the metal points on the car.

I need to know on each wire where 12v shows from start to Finnish, here is an example:

    orange wire: (start 0v > run 0v > crank 12v > run 0v)

This way i can tell you what wire is what and see if any of wires under the steering coloum have been messed with.

    Thanks
