First thing i think my new VTR maybe idolling too low its stalled a couple of times when im not given any throttle when its cold....
Also when i first put the key in the ignition but dont start the engine a small spanner/ wrench comes onto the screen but goes after about 3 secs being new to the saxo im not really sure what this means (hopefully not bad)

I may also have some a few more queries later like a knocking sometimes when i turn the steering wheel quite fast sometimes
Also to aort out aome small scratches on the front bumper and its a tad loose on one aide but lets settle for the first 2 first

cleaning your idle control valve should help with dodgey idle. Common fault! failing that, could be dodgy coil pack.

As for knocking, sounds like a dodgy drive shaft. Check the gaitors for a start, if there split or something. Thats what ruined mine!

    not sure about the spanner

idle control valve is around your throttle body. Theres a guide on here search for "how to clean idle control valve" pretty sure something will come up.

Well it ruined the bearings and the knocking got worse and worse, which can be very dangerous, if it was to fail completly. . bad times come to mind, so if yours is doing the same then i get it sorted. I ust swapped it for a new one.

The spanner your talking about is just a service light telling you how many miles till it needs servicing

no mate, not the steering column, the driveshaft. As long as the steering is working fine, its just knocking whilst turning, then yes, driveshaft. Also does it knock worse going either left or right?
