hi, how come on the saxo's the heater only works when the engine is running, is there any way to make it work when it isnt running, like running a live to it or somthing? i also heard the litte repair people do with the wires to the ignition barrel will do this for me, is that right?

#2why would you want the heaters to blow when engine isn't running?
it would only blow out cold air anyway. -

Seperate your thinking to the FAN and the HEATER. The FAN will work for as long as you want when the engine is off. the HEATER will only remain hot all the time there is hot water in the matrix (that the FAN blows air through). Without circulating water (by the mechanical water pump) the water in the matrix quickly cools because of the fan blowing over it. You need to circulate the water to keep the heater warm. And even if you did that, fairly quickly you'd then cool the whole cooling system without the engine running to keep it hot
