kind of squeaking from clutch

   just got my vtr which seems to be nice however this a few things mainly when i engage the clutch there is a kind of squeaking whistling noise and it can be really hard to downshift into 1st or 2nd
   What do we think a new clutch? ? How much dya reckon if so??

   check cable adjustment first.
