de-cat confusion :/

   i have a mk2 51 plate vtr and i really dont know where the hell my cat is :L ive read so many things people telling me its in the manifold or its in the centre pipe.
   i would like to de cat my car but if it is in the manifold then its a bit more pricey so could someone please help me out as im going to be buying the exhaust system as one full kit.
   
   any help much appreciated!

   got an 02 vtr and its manifold would assume the same of yours if you look at the manifold from the engine bay its the cylinder the outlets all go into

   more than likely manifold, give me your reg number ill find out for you
   
   or do you know if the ecu is single plug or triple plug?

   just had a look through the engine bay at the mani and yeh it does go into a massive cylinder and looking at manifolds from the earlier models they dont have it so thats kind of annoying more money to be spent there! cheers anyway for the offer mate

   Just get your self a mk1 Mani from the scrappys mate , 20 quid or so

   You can pick up a second hand 421 for pretty cheap off ebay or look for someone local selling one, they come up all the time
