   My old man has always said to me, and I happen to agree.... Before you start increasing the power, make it handle better and it will be quicker and safer. Then look at the engine.
   
   I'd go for suspension and brakes first, then start looking at upping the power. Plenty of decent suspension kits about for saxo's which would be the first port of call for me.

   Induction kit, exhaust system, decat, 4-2-1 manifold
   
   That's pretty much the base set of performance modifications that people do. Exhaust wise you've got Supersprint, Magnex, Kam Racing, Sportex, SaxSport etc

   Rallye head is a good option, along with the above mods. But as said sort the suspension tyres and brakes out first if you havent already, you'll be able to enter and exit corners quicker. Also look into a change of gearbox, VTS, s2 rallye or XSi unit would be a good choice for the road - I personally found an S1 gearbox a little low with a normal vtr rev limit
