Broken drain plug!

    Hi i have a mk2 1.1 saxo and since ive had it 2 years it was due a coolant change. Never done it before but read up how to do it on here and in haynes manual and i thought no problem. Think you can all see where this is going...

    Found the radiator drain, couldnt unscrew with my hands so used a pair of pliers. Started trickling out so carried on turning it and pulled the whole thing out looks like i tore the plastic bit on the valve that holds it in. Tried screwing it back in with no luck.

    Ive searched here and the internet for ages, no clue on what to do

    Does anyone have any tips?

    sounds like you'll need a new plug.
    If you've got the plug out, take a trip down halfords, they might have one to fit. If not, Citroen will be your second best bet.
    Failing that, Probably a new radiator time lol.

    Tbf, its probably cheaper and easier to get a new radiator, they go from £free to £15 on here for a 1.1 rad.
