I was just about to install a standard ecu - unlocked, mapped for bodies etc to the car and then had a thought about the alarm/immobiliser.
I have a 2001 Vts. It's alarm and immob are still operational on its stock ecu.
If I install this unlocked ecu, I would presume I'm about to enter a world of pain with the immob (black box thing) still connected?
So, please could you let me know what I need to do? Unplug the black box and leave it so. Is that it?
Car is a track car btw so no need for the alarm and immob anyway.
