saxo vts hunting problem ???

    hi all, i have a 2003 saxo vts , im running 4-2-1 mani, sport cat from piper and piper rear box, piper venom induction kit. Right, when i start my car in the morning it starts on the button and runs fine, wait for like 30 sec and the revs drop down to like 800rpm and it sounds like its only running on 2 clyinders and smells really really rich, you rev it and it doesnt miss abeat , let it tick over and it does the same again. if you leave it ticking over rough, it picks up and sorts its self out and then its fine. drive it till its nice and warm, stop for 5 mins , restart amd the same problem again, ive giver it a full service and checked earth straps and things, even replace the idelspeed control valve at a cost of 80 quid and cleaned out the throttle body and checked for air leaks but still nothing. does anyone no of a comon fault on theise ? cheers charlie

    Iv got the same prob but my revs drop sometimes like it wants to cut out. I get a petrol smell aswel though my heaters wen they are on, do you have that prob? Driving me round the bend lol

    i get the petrol smell but not through the heaters lol im just gonna go down the brakers and grab a handful of sensors and hope that works LOL

    had the same problem on a few of my vts it will be either the cams its normal if its cammed or it your coil pack quite common bud

    My only does it now and then and it's when you stop they will just drop and cum back up then drop. Most of the time when it drops it will cut out. Drives ok unless your at low revs and it will judder like your put gas on and off.
