Hi, have got a vtr mk2 with a mk1 engine ( cross over year)
It has been de catted and I have engine management light on
Codes are p1124 ( shift rail position sensor high input )
And p1128 ( ventilated injector Solinoid open circuit )
Also I'm running with the lambda sensor unplugged
A few of my friends have the same car with also a decat and no lambda and they don't have a engine management light on. Also there's are still really good on petrol 400 miles to a tank where as I can only get 200! Also have read up about the de cat and everywhere says they are just as good on fuel as with a cat.
If anyone can help with the fault codes and what to replace would be great!
