Which 23.8mm brake master cyl?

    Want to put a brand new 23.8mm brake master cylinder (BMC) onto my VTS (I'm worried about flipping the seals during bleeding on a second hand one)

    I've been on www.brakeparts.co.uk and there's a choice of 3 BMCs to choose from? I selected the vehicle as a Xsara VTS / 306 GTi.

    I have ABS so obviously I need a 2 port BMC but it says bosch/bendix, ATE or W/F ABS without ESP? Will any of these fit? I assume some may have different fittings for different types of servos?

    Your one has bendix stamped on it, but it's a 4 port one, I need 2 port (ABS)

    Ok I've been through www.brakeparts.co.uk again. They show the standard Saxo VTS BMC as having 2x 10mm ports, but the Xsara VTS one has 1x 12mm port and 1x 10mm port so that won't fit.

    They don't stock a 306 GTi 6 BMC.

    They do list a 306 2.0 8v / s16 BMC that according to the diagram has 2x 10mm ports and they are on the right side. Shame it's £70!

    Somebody must be able to shed more light on this? I know loads of people have them.

    try 2 port 406 is that any cheaper?
