Hey guys, just want to confirm that this is a gasket failure in the picture, its between the inlet manifold on the left and engine on the right. Could this be the cause of my poor idling problems? Found it when changing the stepper motor!

Im assuming headgasket you mean, Perhaps, but just looks like rust to me.
Best way to tell is look at your oil and coolant and check for water in oil and vice versa.

inlet mani gasket mate, where the crap is, where the inlet mani and the block meet. Sorry, its a crap quality pic!

just looks like rust on the manifold gasket. Don't think it's anything to worry about tbh

bugger, was hoping it would be a cheap fix to the idle problem! Thought the inlet and engines were ali? Its a spi 1.1
