Wiring loom connector issues (with pictures)

    Right so just wen't too wire in the loom for my new engine. . everything seems okay from the ecu right round until these couple of issues regarding the coil pack, crank sensor and these two fuse blocks.


    Firstly, the loom i have has a different connector for the coil pack. The wires are the same from my old 1.1 loom on the right to 1.4 loom on left. So can i just cut the old one off and crimp it to the new one and it work okay?


    Also the same goes for the crank sensor which i forgot to get pictures for, the wires seem the same so can i just do the same and swap them over and it work.



    Lastly. . what are these? They're on my old 1.1 loom and they came out the back of the fuse box. But there not on the new wiring loom at all. . . i spoke to the guy who i brought it off and he said they wern't there when he got it off the loom.

    So do i need them? or will it run without them.

    Coil pack and crank sensor yes just make sure you wire pin num to pin num, on the crank if when you start it, it cranks but doesn't fire and there is no rpm showing they are the wrong way round.

    As for the 2 in the fuse box don't know mate

    As for the fuse things, just seen there on my old 1.1 and the vtr loom i have but this 1.4 one. Very confusing :/

    Anyone know what the green and yellow plugs are?

    Just noticed there on the vtr loom i have aswell. . so there one both the vtr and 1.1 loom, but not the 1.4 loom . . . . . ???? Any help??

    Nowhere in the bottom row that those 2 plugs will fit into? Thats the feed for various accessories such as pas. Theyre all differently shaped too so you cant fit them wrong. Pull the two yellow tabs out of the fusebox

    Well for a start i don't have pas. . got the basic basic model, got fuck all really haha

    But the problem is i DON'T have these on my new loom. The two plug's in the picture are on my old loom i took out. Both of which were plugged into the back of fuse box. via that yellow pin thing like you said. Need to know if my new engine will run without them, or do i have to somehow wire them into my new loom. . . ? ? ? ?
