Missfiring

So i've been reading about cars that missfire and sound like a scooby and everyone seems to say coil pack straight away. Now im having this problem and replaced the coil pack a while ago with a seond-hand, ten year old coil pack from a scrappy.

It will missfire in the morning when its been left for like 12 hours or w/e and then i turn the key off and on again and its fine.

How likely is it that the new second-hand part is causing the same problem? or should i look elsewhere for the issue?

no im saying ive tried two different coil packs and both have the same problem. Is it likely they both had the proiblem and i should go for a brand spanking new one?

A 10yr old coil pack is likely to be knackered, get a new one.
