how easy are they to change because i have a knock on the front end ive changed wishbones..droplinks...rear gearbox mount..top engine mount...both drive shafts...i dont think there alot else to change do they need pressing etc

easy if you have spring clamps.

Take strut from car clamp springs remove the nut at the top. should all fall apart clean the bearing seats fit the new bearing then the top mount and re install 30 min job mate.

Its easy mate you will prob's need new drop links too and a 32mm socket for the drive shaft.

Drop links and nuts are new so shouldn't need them

i used to have an annoying knock
i changed the droplinks, wishbones, top mounts, dampers (knock when they get play apparently), still had the knock.

Got rid of it in the end when i converted to coilovers, meaning it was the bottom spring pan making the noise! can be sorted with a little spot weld apparently

removing the struts is easy. loosen the 3 nuts on the strut top, Undo droplink, bottom ball joint bolt, track rod end, and separate the ball joint by levering it off with a metal bar and/or hitting it with a hammer

Thanks for advice but that really all that left which can knock but if it's still there after the top mount done then I look into spring pan

put a pot or bowl underneath to be on the safe side, then if it does you can put it back in

Get someone to keep hold of it while you pull the strut away, then tie/prop it up.

I just balanced mine on top of the balljoint once the strut was out
