Difference between saxos?

Right i don't fully understand the different between some of the saxos.

I have a forte and i know the desire has like electric windows and a few bits like that but it's just the same engine just few bits added on?

I'm looking into getting a mark 1 saxo sx - Whats the difference i will find from my forte? Same engine but different say bonnet and inertia?

if its a mark 1 the engines won't be the same. mainly going from mpi to spi.
