my missus car is getting a petrol smell inside the car when going along if the windows are open, but not if theyre shut or if the engine is switched off. its just passed an mot and the emissions are fine so im guessing its not the exhaust system. ive tried some redex in it but didnt seem to make much difference. its also using a fair bit of fuel. any ideas before i start stripping it apart? im thinking it may be the fuel pipe into the engine bay. cheers peeps.

#2Possibly a perished fuel pipe,blocked air filter or overfueling problem mate.Just a few pointers.
