fob central locking

   does anyone know how much a new fob and also getting the locking system fixed (dont know whats wrong with it just doesnt work)

   My central locking stopped working.. So i held the lock button on the fob whilst pulling the door pin up and down - then its started working again.
   
   Worth a shot..

   start by changing the battery in the fob
   new "plip" unit + coding etc --will be well over £100 ,you will need the code for the ecu /alarm to program it -with the special tool --If you don,t have the code the dealer will charge to get it -- £30?

   cheaper to buy and fit one of those hawk alarm kits
