ok so ive had search but didnt find anything that sounded to be the same, or definitive answers...
basically my car has recently developed a whirring noise. its there constantly, but the higher up the rev range i go, the more high pitched the noise becomes.
sounds like it's coming from around the alternator, so could this be my problem?
the noise stays when the clutch is in, so i'm pretty sure its not the release bearing..
