Oil Breather Filter

Went to the scrap yard the other day and happened to see a vts engine in a saxo.
I look at the engine and noticed that it had a rubber grommet in place of the hole that you put the breather hose in.
I was thinking of getting a catcher tank, Would this solve the problem of oil coming out if i found a grommet ?

Yes. You'll also be pressurising the crankcase though, and

Ok so a catcher is the best bet?

Yes or run it back to the inlet piping as standard. Dont block it off, thats going to cause problems

I have heard you can make catchers? How do you do it or is it cheaper to buy a normal one ?

As said a catch tank is the way to go.
