Indicator/hazard problem.........help?

    Recently i went to indicate and heard a buzzing noise and then i had no use of Indicators and Hazards.

    Checked fuses and had gone so replaced but still no joy,i then changed flasher relay and all good.This morning i have a phone call off wife to say that they have gone again.She said she went to indicate and heard buzzing noise and then no indicators.

    The relay i got was a brand new one but
    *I had put a 20a fuse in instead of a 10a in the indicator fuse.......could this be the problem?Im not to sure if there would be a buzzing noise if it was just the fuse.

    I had noticed that the old relay had a burning smell and when opened up there was a black mark behind the bottom rhf facing pin.

    The indicator stalk can cause all sorts of problems when they were. Replace it or clean it out (fiddly) and a rebuild usually sorts it

    Well,it seems that the new flasher relay has burned out after only putting it in tuesday(yep,it was new)

    About 10 days ago my wing came off and i put the wires directly into the side indicator without putting into plastic cap,could this be where my problem is?
