gearbox seize if left standing

   Would there be anything against leaving a gearbox out in the open exposed to rain. Will it rust and seize? Want to keep my vts gearbox for the future.

   Yeah you'd wanna cover it up, maybe bung the driveshaft holes with something and cover the input shaft
