saxo vts cut out and now wont start

    batterie warning light has been flickering on off for about two weeks.then tonite my car just cut out then started fine then it was fine for next few hours then it started spluttering a wouldnt rev so tryed to drive home then it just cut out and wouldnt start any ideas. tbh prob my own fault for ignoring warning light

    Battery or alternator I'd reckon. When you say wont start, does it turn over?
