Headlight dim

   Hello am back! My mother inlaw has a 1.1 and asked me to change the bulb as it was dim
   
   I changed it but its still dim?? The connector looks like it may of had a bodge in the past (glued together)
   
   Any help if its not the bulb??

   Maybe bad connection if it looks bodged.. Try a new connector?

   same issue but connectors are fine! But sometimes when on dipped beam the full beam icon lights up really dimly alongside the dipped beam on the dash.

   when you say the connector has glue all over it, are you sure its not a certain grease people put on them to stop them corroding?

   Sounds like a bad connection...might be to do with the glue :|

   I`d clean up the connector 1st,if that doesn`t work then replace the connector.

   run a multi meter on the good connector block then do same with other side and see if the bulb is receiving the correct voltage if not then check the connectors inside the block for corrosion and rust if there ok trace the wires back and see if they have been trapped at some point as this could break the copper wire inside
