Oil Leak

   By having a browse on the internet it seems that this might be quite common.
   
   I have an oil leak running from the front left of the engine near the alternator on the edge, one of my mates has said that it could be some type of gasket. I'm going to fix it myself but I don't want to replace one gasket then it turn out to be another.
   
   Any ideas? Was gonna take some pictures but its pitch black outside.

   What engine is this on?
   8V one rubber gasket simple round the rocker cover.
   16V cam covers perish quite regularly as some don't have any on so get them off and reseal with new rubber gasket and sealant.

   8v`s also weep from the alternator side of the head gasket as well,common problem.

   Its the 1.1 mate believe its 8v

   Yes its an 8v & as above oil leaks from where I said are common on these,mine leaks but not a great deal so i`ve left it.
