Saxo VTS mk1 starter motor?

    Hi, so i was going to remove nut/Cable from starter motor, as im going to move back the battery and need to Change some cables to/from starter motor, well it ended with the Bolt broken off.

    so which starter motors fits? Any from pug 106?

    If i remember correctly it doesnt matter which starter you use ie, 1.1/1.4/vtr/vts etc, they all fit. I seem to remember using a 1.1 starter on a vts a few years back but cant remember 100%. Someone will verify anyway

    Yeah they are all the same. I'm running a diesel one on mine.

    Shouldnt one from 106 fit? Im lookin in my haynes manual for 106, it doesnt look the same as mine on the saxo tho.

    Im asking because Saxo was never sold in Sweden, those that are in Sweden are prolly imports from Denmark.

    I've also used a vtr one on a 1.1 106 im sure. All the same engines/boxes between the saxos/106's so yes one from a 106 will fit.
