my sunroof was leaking, the seal kept popping out of place, finally got it to sit in place and seal, so sunroof opening is now banned in my car

take the whole sunroof out and get a good look at it, on my old saxo the corner under the sunroof had rusted through and thats why it was leaking so bad, i think there is a guide on here somewhere that shows you how to take it out. when taking the headlining down there are torx screws under the glass on the top of the car to undo it and drop it down, don't rip it off like alot of people do!

Id get the seal from a newer Saxo, 02/3.

Going from posts ive read in past on here they're different. Ive not had any leaks at all. infact the water cant go anywhere other then roll down the roof/window. Ive checked under the window and its all clean etc. (cant see any drain holes either).

Edit; ive just went and took some pics just to whow you what i mean.

OII ADZ... Just edit your last posts your spam queen.
Just pour a load of vinegar into the seals, leave for 5 mins then gush out with hot water. Clears all the crap and mud out.

INDASA Windscreen Sealant- Window, Sunroof & Cluster Leak Repair Sealer, Black. type that in ebay, that is what I put in the channel after cleaning the it out before refitting the seal, about a 2mm bead should do it.Careful with it though, its messy stuff.

    .
    That sounds hard work

Its not been as bad today, I actually think I may have left the sunroof open just a touch, so will see how it is over the next week or so.

Yeah, take interior light out, un-do screw inside in the roof for aerial, clean it all out whilst your there, then use some clear sealant (I just did mine round the base where it touches the roof) and screw it back down, jobs a good'un! You will sometimes find if the sunroof is leaking it fills footwells up with water
