gearbox....is it fooked?

   As title says... Problem is it was working fine this morning...left it parked up all day...then went to drive it away...still working fine...went for third and the gear change was massively heavy and hard to get in. I can still get all gears..just really hard.its defos not the clutch cos thats only couple months old..and it doesnt grind..its just really hard to use gearshifter it third gearbox in a year..but first for this to happen..any ideas or kwik fixes???

   Sounds like the classic Saxo gearbox, I'd fit one from a 106 they're much stronger.

   And theres a nylon ball as part of the shift setup... Sometimes dirt and grime get stuck to it and stones make it really stiff... Otherwise just linkages

   That would be the same for all changes not just one.

   Soz...a wasnt to clear before...it only happened tryin for third..but all are hard to get now .

   Have a look at that nylon ball.. Other than that linkages or another box mate

    Try disconecting the linkages, if its hard you know its the stick somewhere... Otherwise box really... Everything should be freely movable
