#2Hiya mate, did some1 get back to you about the problem u were havin with ur saxo? kx

#3Its more than likely not the de-cat. Check that your coilpack is seated correctly on the sparkplugs ( I you have one ) as this caused my misfire.
and check your lamdba sensor and also your idle contol valve and temperature sensors. Does it die when its warm? -
#4check idle control valve too
-
#5yes it will die wen the engine is warm.... there doesnt seem to be a problem with the temp settings... i thought maybe it might have something to do with the feul settings or something, as wen i am at a standstill the car is hunting... ( revs are dropping to 300 then shoting up to 1200 constantly) the car is now stalling everytime i sit and idle!

#6Get it hocked up, n get the sensers checkedQuote:Originally Posted by westy4a69yes it will die wen the engine is warm.... there doesnt seem to be a problem with the temp settings... i thought maybe it might have something to do with the feul settings or something, as wen i am at a standstill the car is hunting... #7get it hooked up on the diagnostics machine???
-
#8if when stationary and the revs are going up and down as you say then probably idle control valve. My mate had that on his vw golf.
-
#9Had similar prob with my vts. Water temp switch was changed and all fine for a few weeks then started to happen again. Was eventually diagnosed as a faulty ignition switch which led to more faults - now dead!!! Get it cheched out by an auto electrician and if it is that don't ignore like I did!!!

#10Yeah best bet is to get a Diagnostics on it. Water temp is usally the cause of this problem.

#11how much is diagnostics test then?
