knocking from front left

    Since I did clutch and box when I drive over a bump get a knocking sound from front left is this bottom arm?? Drop link??

    Ball joint is part of the bottom arm aint it or isn't it?

    Yes it is, its what you put in to your botterm part of your strut

    Yea where the pinch bolt goes they easy to do I didn't even know you could remove em I thought it was all one part

    You need a press to remove them, just replace the arm they are cheap enough.

    If it's knocking since you changed a clutch it's more than likely it's knocking because the pinch bolt isn't done up tight, try buy some stainless bolts off eBay, I did for my 206 and fixed the issue, the standard ones you get from Euro Car Parts or Andrew Page are very soft.

    I got brand new pinch bolts for both sides from my citroen dealer mate as the threads on the old ones were iffy but I may not of tightened them enough might be worth checking

    So I took wheel off to tighten pinch bolt up to realise the hub nut was only finger tight was one of them moments where I was glad no one was watching so hopefully that was the noise ill find out later haha
