Converting to Wheel Studs

    As above how do i go about converting to wheel studs as the saxo wheel bolt really does my head in....


    (could i just get for instants 16 ford wheel studs and press them into the saxos bolt holes?? )

    you can buy studs that thread in off places like PRI racing
    saxos are m12 x 1.25

    Lol fords and citroens even use the same thread, (i wonder if the oil filter thread is 3/4unf as well? )

    i wouldnt trust stuff off ebay personally
    no guarantee of any sort of quality i like to buy off a company at least so i have at least some form of come back if something isnt right with them

    been a shile since i looked at lenghts i think i have 80s but i have the wrong et wheels and spacers

    The ones from that seller would be fine, they are from mtec racing

    Avoid grayston ones, the 205 forum did a group buy on them but had loads if issues with stripped threads.

    Remember you also need to get the correct nuts, flat or taper faced

    Mtec are grayston studs, look for a guy on the forums. Madaxgt i think, replicated pts spec so much better.

    French stuff is m20 oil filter, different wheel bolts threads to ford.

    Yeah.. Citroen use a m12x1.25 thread wheel bolt... Ford use either m12x1.5 or imperial

    For a proper job you can do this...

    Scoobie wheel studs..



    Drill..



    Press..





    Strong as hell and wont pull out the hub. I actually did this because i had bad threads in the read hubs. I use the conversion as abve in the front and they are shocking. Soon as. Need new wheel bearings th front s getting the scoobe treatment aswell!

    P.s.. Scoobie runs the same m12x1.25 as citroen/pug
