Just a little explaining

    Hi guys I've just bought this saxo desire 1.1 and I know they aren't the most amazing Saxos ever but I have a few things to be done before I start making it look better etc. I'm kind of new to the whole thing and in need of someone to tell me two thing what is in the casing to the left of the rocker cover? I think it may be a cambelt but just some assurance would be good and how much do you reckon to replace? Also to the right I have a connector but one seems to have been cut what sensor or connector is it?

    The casing is the cam belt cover, cheapish to replace get one from scrappy.. the connector is normal mines the same (Y)

    Mines the same, thought there was a cut wire... Told on here its normal. You can get cambelt changed for as cheap as £140 I think depending where you go. Could cost a lot more though
